As the lesson started, we saw a news article from new york times. The article said"More than 67 Palestinians, including 16 children, have died since the start of the conflict on Monday, Palestinian health officials said. The rockets fired by Hamas and its Islamist ally, Islamic Jihad, killed at least six Israeli civilians, including a 5-year-old boy and one soldier." Although the number of palestinians dead was larger compared to Israel civilians, they didn't discribe how they died which made the readers not being able to understand the situation clearly. On the other hand, the new york times descirbed the Hamas as, the rockets was fired killing at least six Israel civillians, including one children and one soldier. This sentence describes clearly how they were killed and marks out the age and jobs of the killed few. After discussing with the people around me, we watched few more videos showing a 10 year old girl asking the media what they have done to deserve their homes to be destroyed by the rockets, actual footage of buildings colapsing due to the firing of the rockets, orphanage being destroyed, Israel school teaching  students to have the thought of ruling the Palestine land and more. Not just that, but I learned that there are only 22 health centers in Palestine and not all roads could be used by all citizens.

Through the class, I underwent a feeling of unfair and unequality. I strongly thought that palestinians should be able to have more stronger rights and freedom. Numerous number of population packed tightly in a small area, being forced to give their land to the Israrel doesn't just seem to be the right action to take. I hope that the fight between Israel and Palestine comes to an end in the near future before more inocent people will start to lose their lives.
