Today was the second day of the presentation and 6 people presented about their book. Out of the 6 presentators, 2 of them,Hirofumi and Sara were in the same group as me in the presentation practice last week. While listening to their presentation, I relized that they made use of the advise like what Mitsuki did. For example, unifying the size of the image, talking clearly due to the mask, using more hand expressions and having more eye contacts. From these improvements, their slide were more interesting and entertaining for us to listen to. But most of them had problem with the URL posting. Not only that but people said "Um..." too many times which made the audience a bit bored. Points ・ URL ・ Reduce the number of "Um..." "Ya... " "Ur..." Notes Hirofumi - Lord of The Flies  (good unifying size of image) Sara  - Five feet apart  (great hand gesture, eye contact) Akari   - The girl who wrote in silk (nice moving while explaining) Tomoka -  Out of my m...

Today was the day everyone was getting prepared for. When Mr.Paterson started deciding the first presenter, the chatting noise suddenly disappered and nervous was felt from each person. Today, we were able to do 4 presentation in the class. I listened to everyone's presentation and Mr.Paterson's advice very carefully so that I could understand the points where I should be cautious of. Honestly, there were quite a lot of mistakes which I couldn't spot but Mr.Paterson had pointed out. I easily noticed that my team members (Fuma & MItsuki) had made use of my teammates and my advices and corrected them. By looking at their presentation, their presentation was much better compared to the time they presented during the mini practise activity.  Points ・change url (easy for listeners to memorize)       ・ arange the images proply (make it equal) Notes Fuma     "Wonder"     (good gesture & questioning)  Mako     ...

As I walked into the class with my friend, everyone was discussing about their presentation next week.Same as the previous lesson, we continued the presentation practise activity and managed to hear the remaining group members presentation. After we finished listening and gave advices, my group members especially Mitsuki helped me create the basic of my slides. They were all very supportive and considerative enabling me to start on my slides bit by bit. Furthermore, my motivation on creating the slide gradually became stronger. The only worry I have is whether I could manage to complete the slides, book review and the academic book review by the deadline...(I will try my best lol)   Notes: Sara Inoue  "Five feet apart" understandble image good eye contact nice gesture  too much word(delete the ones which isn't neccesary)

Today was supposed to be the day for my classmates to present about their book they had read these days but, the plan changed and the presentation day was posponed to next week. After hearing this from Mr.Paterson, everyone had smiles on their face and was feeling  pleased with the change. As today wasn't the actual presentation day, we listened to other peoples presentation in groups of 4~5 people and gave advices in order for them to  understand the points which can be improved in their presentation. I honestly thought that this activity was very meaningful as every group member could be told their negative points which can't be found by the presenter themselves but from the listener. Additionally, todays activity was a great chance to have a better idea, image of how the presentation slides should look like by observing their presentation. I was astonished to see them speaking without looking at the script. They all looked confident and had perfect eye contacts. Now, I have ...
