WH book review (chapter 10~41)
After thinking about his decision, Manjiro decided to go to America and made a farewell to the rest of the Japanese fisherman. Manijiro hoped on the ship and sailed for a long period of time. Upon reaching America, he was welcomed by Captain Whitfields wife at the port and was brought to their house as their child. Tradition, laws, politics and nearly everything was completly different from Japan. Some people who witnessed Manjiro discriminated him by the look of his face,clothes and language. As days passed by, Manjiro was getting used in the lifestyle in America and people around him no longer discriminated him any more.One day, Captain whitfield told Manjiro that he will be sailing again and will not come back to America for quite a long time.
